W71 is NTC approved

  But this is the proof showing the (FireFly) W71 being sold by Compex was really a NTC approved cell phone.

  there you go! it may look like the same .. but i believe its worth yer money .. the phone now sells for 4,999 only at any Compex stores with one year warranty and IT IS NTC REGISTERED

  Even LG has a qwerty phone which looks like an E71, only much larger. Correct me if I'm wrong but qwerty phones were of Blackberry designs.
  
  I guess NTC is approving phones not because of its design but with its features, functions and whether or not it causes harm to the end user.

  maybe NTC is approving it because it went under proper procedure of importation and not thru smuggle compare sa ibang china units

  NTC approves mobile phones not on the design (if they have any patent violations) but on the SAR rate and safety of the product itself. Take note a lot of China phones do not follow the saftey standards on the acceptable radiation it emmits that is why they were not approved. It's more than just going through NTC to pay taxes and not be called smuggled. In short, you're unsure of your health when using china phones/FAKE nokia, se, etc or whatever.

  that's why always check if a phone is ntc approved. it's like food products approved by BFAD
