  Wow! a nice upgrade over my old 5310xm! Great basic features, music phone, plus 5 megapixel camera. The price is steep at this point but will eventually go down in a few months.

  hmmm, matibay naman kaya ang keypad nito? para kasing hihiway sa phone pag katagalan, hehe..

  take note, it's UNLOCkED ( meaning openline.)
  
  
  so , fellow TCPers who wants it, get it asap.
  
  i am thinking that if we wait or delay in buying it, we might
  not be able to get the unlocked unit anymore.
  
  remembering last year when sun cel released the nokia 2700 ,
  and during the first week they announced it, the unit i got
  was also unlocked.
  then a few months later, the 2700s they are giving out are
  sun-locked.

  well, sa globe telecom, parksquare 1, makati ako nakabili last august 5 for P5,395 with seven days replacement and 12 months nokia care warranty. yup, its OPEN LINE; i inserted a smart sim and it worked. includes 2GB microSD and the wh-205 headset na noise canceling (just like the headset included in x3 and 5530). wala pa naman akong naencounter na defect/hangs/bugs/restarts. matagal lang siya magprocess ng picture taken with the camera, meaning you cant delete it right away. at medyo naninibago lang ako sa screen na 256k colors at medyo mataas ang contrast (parang nakakaduling/masakit sa mata), nasanay yata ako sa 16M. the speakers are loud but lacks bass/quality/detail. lastly, its MADE IN INDIA.

  hmmm, ewan ko lang di ko macompare, kasi di pa ako nakagamit ng 2730 wew ^_^
  pero parang 5130XM yata yung display quality, not sure...look ko sa 2nd cousin ko pag magkita kami
  but dont take my opinion about the screen too seriously, its just me...hehe, kasi nasanay yata ako sa quality ng 5530 ko.
  but i still love it, because under the sun, my X2-00 pawns my 5530 screen anyways.

  yep, nandun din ako sa thread na yun. balak ko kasi ibili yung younger brother ko nito to replace his 5310 eh. Kaso kung parang nakakaduling ang screen at parang sa 5130 at 2730 lang, baka hindi na rin. pero i'll try to look for sample device that works para macompare ko =)

  napagcompare ko na po yung 5130XM ng 2nd cousin ko at X2 ko. yes, parehas sila ng display quality; baka nga po manibago ang kapatid nyo kasi 16M yata ang 5310XM. ok rin sana kung may ambient light sensor ang X2 para auto off ang keypad backlight pag maliwanag to reduce energy consumption. speaking of keypad backlight, i think mas brighter/even ang sa X2 kesa sa 5310 as i've seen sa GSMArena review. sa sms naman, ang mga bagong phones ngayon eh pag nagtatype ka ng sms tapos nag-exit or pinindot mo yung END Key, sinisave nila sa Drafts, sa X2 hindi, nandoon pa rin sa create new message just like the old nokia phones.

  gusto ko sana bumili nito. Sabi niyo po na malakas nga yung speaker pero kulang sa bass/quality/detail. X3 kasi yung gamit ko and i am pretty satisfied naman sa quality nung speaker kasi di ko naman ineexpext na outstanding ung bass quality sa phone lang kasi. marami na rin akong nagamit na music oriented na phone like 5610, 5310, 5300 and now is x3. Sa lahat ng nagamit ko eh sa x3 yung sa x3 ko aq mas nagandahan kasi mas clear ung output unlike the others na medio malakas yung noise. When it comes nga lang sa loudness hands up akosa 5310 pero un nga lang kasi ung noise. kaya medyo distorted ung sound.
  
  gusto ko kasi palitan ung x3 ko kc ayaw ko na ng slide, ibibigay ko na lang sa kapatid ko. do you think na worth it ang x2 para sa x3 in terms of music and also the camera kc 5 mp unlike x3 3.2 mp lang. kc hindi po eh iba na lang bibilhin ko pero gusto music oriented din. thanks po sa suggestion in advance.

  onto the topic, i haven't had the chance to hear the X3's speakers but i did watch the video review of the X3 by phonearena. they say they do pack some punch and are almost comparable to 5800; and i know, 5800 really does have a nice pair of speakers. therefore, it could be 'somewhat' declared that X3's speakers are better than X2's.
  
  but still..here is my opinion about the speakers (random lang ahaha kung ano maisip ko):
  they are loud but is kind of sharp (kind of lang ha ^_^); vocals are somewhat on top but some sounds/instruments sound 'drowned;' the back is slightly curved so the speakers at the back are not blocked when you put it in a flat surface, ha! it even sounded louder when its on its back rather than facing down. and do not be mislead by the four speaker grills, there are just two working speakers; if 5800 (reference) has 10/10 bass i could say X2 has 7-8/10 ewan ko lang ah...hahahaha!; sometimes im even scared of playing music at full volume through the speakers, kasi in some songs, im hearing creaking/cracking sound parang bibigay yung speakers--wag!; ano pa ba....hmmm, ayun--para yatang N73 yung dating niya. eto muna siguro sa speakers, ill post other findings.
  
  camera:
  well...its a cheap entry-level music phone so i wouldn't expect it to excel in this aspect. its JUST a five megapixel camera, thats it... no autofocus, one flinch, and your picture will end up blurry. there's a lot of image noise in poor lighting conditions. the LED flash is good enough if the subject is within a meter. it only records 3GP/MPEG-4 QVGA (320x240) resolution at up to 20 fps and there is no option for 'video light.' at yung issue pala sa pagprocess nya ng photos you take with the camera, parang three minutes yata so ang problema mo ay--di mo siya agad madidelet/edit/rename/print. and at first, its a humongous 5MB picture, and when its done processing, it will be more or less 1MB. yan pa lang naiisip ko. post ko mga shots ko and see for yourself, just click the links.

  but i think its still subjective, may kanya-kanya tayong opinyon at panglasa. it is best that you get a hands-on experience with this phone first, so you can decide kung bibilhin mo or hindi.

  thanks for sharing. kelangan ko talaga siguro ng hands on ang product para malaman ko. kasi mahirap na ma-disappoint sayang yung pinambili. hindi kasi ako nagbebenta kapag galing sa ipon ko. kung ibebenta ko iyon sa kamag anak ko lang para kahit paano eh nakikita ko pa rin. and request po sana pa sample naman po ng full 5MP resolution (2592*1944). kasi 0.8MP (1024*768) po kc ung nasa links. thanks po ng marami and i count on it talaga. :D

  hahaha paano at saan ba pwede mag-upload ng picture na hindi mariresize? 5MP kasi yung inupload ko sa photobucket but like you said naging 0.8MP na lang..
  
  i forgot to mention the trouble in bluetooth transfer. if you just go to a file and press option>send>via bluetooth, it will always get stuck in 1% and not send the first time. it will only send if you press cancel and do it again. but if you are going to turn on bluetooth first before sending a file, it will do it without trouble. i dont know whats up with that...maybe a bug?
  
  oh yeah, it does have five-band equalizer with the usual presets and two slots for user defined settings. pero mahirap pa ring timplahin yung speakers so stick with a headset.

  wala pong macro mode. tama po si sidlead, pag walang auto focus, there is no chance na may macro mode.

  base nga sa mga shots from kapzzz, napaka dissapointing ng shots ng X2, the first time i've heard it, nagulat at natuwa ako, 5mp CamPhone? at the price of 7000+? napaka impossible... napaka misleading ng product na ito from nokia... I'm a nokia fanboy, pero this is the first time na medyo nainis ako sa nokia... If ever na may 7000+ ako, i'd rather buy second hand na n96/n79/5800XM na second hand rather than this phone, hindi na nga siguro covered ng warranty, pero sure akong ma eenjoy ko ito ng mabuti (considering na matino yung napagkunan ng phone... :D)
