my starmobile diamond is back from the dead. updated daw ang firmware. well here's the screenshot. see if the version numbers are different from stock models

We are waiting for V11 na :) pero hanggang ngayon wala pa pati battery di na rin naglabas :(

  • @all

Are there Diamond S2 users here in the thread? Have you used Viber in it & how is the user experience? Do you encounter problems with the dual-sim functionality of your phones?

    Thanks for your feedbacks!
  • Just got Starmobile diamond S2 from sun loyalty plan. So far ok naman as of now.
  • sir wala ba kaung alam ng custom rom ng diamond s2?
  • after a year and a half with my starmobile diamond I can say that these are the downsides

    minor
    * no lanyard hole
    * not as fast as other phones. its only a dual core. Plants vs zombies 2 is a bit slow. But since I dont game on my phone its not a big deal to me

    major
    * crappy GPS, takes up to half an hour to get lock even with a clear view of the sky. I've tried it side by side with a samsung galaxy tab and a samsung galaxy Y so I know that the sattelites are not down.
    * common error ang "not enough space" in internal storage if you have a large amount of apps installed. Even after clearing the cache and using apps like app2SD or link2SD. With those apps there are still a huge number of apps that cannot be moved. Link2SD says it could move it if only my phone was rooted.

  • the downside here is that Starmobile already left this phone nowhere...

Too much dismay on this company.
4 na phone ko na nasira sa Starmobile 1st is the Bright, then the Crystal, 3rd is Diamond and then the last is Diamond S1. lahat yan di tumagal ng isang taon napunta lahat yan sa service center kaya after na ipagawa ko dispose ko agad para wala ng aberya.
  • From Diamond S1(sold it) then Samsung Galaxy S4 then change it to Zenfone 2 very satisfied and very smooth and there is a peace of mind because of the Aftermarket sales is very good kasi walang nakapila.
  • Just got my Starmobile S2 last November 2014. I accidentally dropped it from a 6ft. height pero luckily wala nangyari na basag. Nagulat ako kasi more than the price of the phone na yung sinisingil sakin.

Ganun ba talaga?

  • Asus Zenfone Go ZC500 and cherry mobile CM One G1 are around 5900 php. doon ka nalang
  • Mura na pala Samsung Galaxy S4 ngayon. Brand new 15k na lang. Mataas pa specs di naman naghahang sa games like asphalt, modern combat 4 and Spider-man. At updated to lollipop v 5.1 pa.
