There's a new budget quad-core smartphone in townand, no, it's not running Android. Microsoft's dual-SIM variant of the Nokia Lumia 530 is now available in gray, green, orange, and white in the Philippines for P4,990. That's a full P3,000 cheaper than the more specced-out Nokia Lumia 630 it takes after back when the latter first came out. This means that the Nokia Lumia 530 is the cheapest Windows Phone 8.1 offering currently available. Of course, this also means you shouldn't expect too much from it besides a much-improved smartphone experience in Windows Phone 8.1.
