Personal review:
I own a samsung galaxy y, the best low-end android phone to date. I had to replace it because I got tired of bringing an extra phone to work everyday and needed to buy a phone with dual sim capability. Aside from keeping in touch with my co-workers and patients, I use my phone mainly as an organizer, quick document viewer, internet browser. Here is a quick review.
Price:
4,999 php. A reasonable price for a _branded_ phone.
Call Quality:
I get no complaints from the person I talk to, but the sound that this phone recieves is not as clear as what I get from my old Galaxy Y, GSM or 3G. But I use a plantronics m20 bluetooth unit to recieve calls, so its not a big deal.
External speaker:
The sound becomes shrill and distorted at higher volumes.
Battery life:
2-3 days on low use, 1 day with heavy use. I have a mobile power bank from cdrking as an emergency charger, if needed.
Storage space:
I get around 150mb free. Its not much, but you get what you pay for
GPS:
A little bit slow before I can acquire my position using maverick (2-5 mins). No compass
Games:
Can run angry birds and sneezies. Good enough to pass time. hehe
Additional useful feature:
It can record your current phone call, no need to download a separate program for it.
Antutu Benchmark score:
3,981. wow
Overall: Satisfied with my A60+.

For rooting, follow this guide:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2098836
just follow the instructions and you should be fine.
Eto recently ko lang nasubukan so I'm sharing it here. To increase the internal memory so you can install more apps:
http://www.facebook.com/notes/karl-saturn/how-to-manually-increase-internal-memory-of-lenovo-a60/430343767040930
Take note lang na huwag mag-install ng Link2SD after applying the ZIP file. Optimal na rin yata ang 768MB na ext3 partition. I tried 4GB and 2GB pero naka-experience ako ng frequent force close ng Play Store pati nagkakaroon ng insufficient space error.
