  44k is too much... i think you have these bought with plans through AT&T thus you bought them for a very low price.

  it's so easy to unlock, it isn't a problem. i'd rather sell THEN let them open it and unlock it.
  
  why is that such an issue for you?
  
  and what if it was bough through the no contract deal? then that would make it not "too much".

  thing is you haven't checked the unit if it has dead pixel open and unbox to check this is a mandatory for apple products..
  also if it has signal as well
  
  then you haven't checked if what IOS 4 it is installed to...if it comes with 4.0.1 or 4.0.0 or 4.0.2
  
  if it did came with 4.0.2 this unit is certainly too much...4.0.2 cannot be unlocked..it will take 1 month before unlocking software could be released..
  
  if you can pls re specify what firmware it is installed to so there would be no discrepancy with the product plus giving a thought on lowering the price..IMO only
