bro, you can use any 2G/3G phone as a modem. of course transfer rates are faster with the 3G phone. i've used my LG KU250 for this purpose and it works fine.btw, i am selling it for P5200.00

sa elderly na di marunong gumamit ng cellfone at pick-up lang ng arms ng telpono ang alam kung sumagot ng phone..

try mo mag-inquire sa Ericcson sa ortigas. they should be able to order it for you.
you can also inquire about the globe speak and surf service. they provide a chinese-made gsm modem that can be used with a regular analog phone and also works as a broadband modem. the catch is the service is available only in metro manila.
