Highly versatile device. It's practically a mini laptop. Microsoft office is already installed which means you can edit your word documents on the phone. You can surf the web using the phone's built in wifi connection, games like solitaire and jawbreaker are preinstalled. There are also a lot of games available for the device, from strategy games like age of empires to 3d action games like tomb raider.
It's also one of the best looking XDA phones in my opinion, with nice looking chrome trims and and a two tone black and gray body. The unit has a built in sliding keypad which makes it a lot more convenient to use than most standard PDA/phones. The LCD is big so you can watch movies or play games and see more details than you would otherwise see in a standard PDA/phone. You can also view webpages or work with your documents without having to scroll too much

The unit was worth 40k when it was released

advantages over the treo 650/680:
-with the XDA 2s, you can run multiple applications at the same time. You can edit a word document while downloading a file in the background and listening to your favorite tunes on windows media player. The palm OS doesn't allow you to multitask
-bigger LCD
-built in Wifi
-The XDA 2s is more powerful. It comes with a faster 400mhz processor w/c can be overclocked to even faster speeds. The treo 680 only comes with a 312mhz processor
-The interface is similar to windows XP so complex tasks like file management on the XDA 2s are more intuitive and easier to learn



I bought it 2nd hand just a few days ago. I love it but I need a smaller phone so i'm selling it. Willing to swap with treo 750
