Powerbank Users Thread (FAQ - Page 69)

  • my yoobao costs less than 700 pesos for the 10,000mAh variant. di ko lang sure kung may price increase na sa globe business centers.

hindi pa yata kasi last month nakabili ulit kami (for my cousin)
    problema lang daling maubos
pero ayus na ayus, bang for the buck ika nga
  • ako asus zenpower ang binili ko. 10k mah, maliit, mas magaan than most 10k mah power banks.
walang led na flashlight, isang device lang ang pwede icharge at a time.

lahat ng powerbank disposable. no need to buy a very expensive or branded power bank na lagpas 1.5k. no need for fancy fast charging ng powerbank itself or ng device. inside the powerbank is a basic rechargeable battery. all batteries are disposable. give it one-two years and nagtitiis ka parin na sulitin ang mahal na powerbank kahit deteriorated na ng matindi ang charge capacity nya.

ang powerbank lagi mong dala sa bag or bulsa, so no need for fast charging of my mobile/tablet from the powerbank

ang importante lang safe ang powerbank at hindi umiinit (which is what the asus zenpower provides). no need to treat the powerbank in any special way since mura and disposable ang trato ko sa kanya. kung tinitipid mo gamitin ang power bank, then maybe hindi mo talaga kailangan ng powerbank at hindi ka ganun ka-active sa pag gamit ng mobile/tablet mo while on the go.
  • ^powerbanks ko hindi disposable, yung batteries lang. 3 years na sila, pero hindi kailangan itapon. :)

Yung fast charging feature kailangan sya kung 2 or more device ang icha-charge mo, lalo na kung 1 lang charging slot ng pb. And powerbanks need to be treated in a special way because you are dealing with a flamable device, kaya nga ipinagbabawal ang battery sa eroplano.

    1. Ma-empty batt. (Pag-1bar charge ko agad)
    2. Mainitan. (Kaya ayoko ko ng fast charger)

All powerbank uses lithium type kaya yan ang dapat iwasan.

Overcharge - (Myth nalang dahil lahat may microcontroller na)

Also iwasang gumamit ng class A or fake na charger.
  • @ endless - quick charge is necessary (or at least 2Ah output) kung lagi kang on the go.

I also had an asus powerbank like yours, pero na kay gf na since mas compact at portable (at presentable compared kay yoobao).
  • Finally got my Asus Zenpower Combo from Taipei for P1,500.

It's a lot heavier than the Asus Zenpower but it has built-in USB cable and power plug so direct na saksak sa outlet.

Wow mukang okay nga yan. may quick charge pa.

Thank you...
  • Any recommendations on charger cables? Thanks!

I suggest u but the branded one. as they say, buy cheap, buy twice. better invest sa branded/quality kesa bumili ka ulit mas mapapamahal ka. it's worth it
