had a very bad experience dealing with this guy. here's what happened.

- saw his ad on 03/31/08 here in tipidcp (<click here for link>) regarding the nokia e61i he's selling. the offer was good enough for me so i inquired through the negotiation message if it was still available (03/31/08 8:07pm). he posted on 04/01/08 9:42pm at his ad, saying to all those inquiring that the phone is still available.

- as soon as i saw his reply on 04/02/08, i sent him a private message and text message (11:33am) saying that i was willing to buy his item. i was waiting for his reply the whole day, but he didnt reply back. (when you view his item, you can also see messages from other users waiting for his reply) so i thought he was not interested (which intrigued me at first since i was willing to pay his selling price, i just told myself maybe he has his own reasons).

- on 04/03/08 (11:31am) he texted me and the others as well (with how the text message was composed one can easily say its a group message for all those who inquired) saying the phone is still available but only till the morning of 04/04/08 because he was leaving for the province.

- i quickly called him, but he canceled my call. so i just replied to his text message and said i was willing to buy the phone. after a while, he called me and said that his item is fixed at 10k. (i agreed) he then said he is currently with a client and would be free from 3pm onwards. i said i am not sure if i can make it at market market at exactly 3pm since i am still in the office and need to ask permission from my boss. i said i will send him a text message to confirm if i can make it at 3pm. he said it's ok, he'll be free anyways till the evening (so i thought we had a deal??..)

- since his text message that day was unexpected, i was short of cash. so i hurriedly looked for someone who was willing to lend me some. (luckily(?) my friend lent me)

- i texted him at 2:30pm and said that we can meet at 3pm. however, he informed me that he can't make it because he was still in quezon city and said he would just text me the new time of our meet up. i was waiting for his text message until 8pm of 04/03/08 but still no text message from him, tried texting and calling him but he didnt respond. (i haven't gone home since market market is not near to my house and i would be wasting gas going home just to come back to makati in a few hours)

- at exactly 9:27pm he texted and said he was unable to contact me because he was with a client (how long can composing one text message be? i should have gone home much earlier if he had just texted me that he cant meet up because he's busy). he then said that if i was willing to meet him at rcbc plaza in makati tom morning (04/04/08). though a bit frustrated i said ok (i said to myself give him another chance). he said he will text me first thing in the morning the time of our meet up.

- went to office early on 04/04/08 because i know he will be leaving for province that morning. i was expecting to receive a text message that early morning telling me the time we will meet at rcbc but no text received from him, so instead i was the one who texted him at past 8am asking the time we can meet. at 9:28am of 04/04/08 he texted me saying he's still in the office and would just text again. at 10:30am i tried to contact him again but as usual no reply. this went on till lunch time before i finally gave up contacting him.

- till as of this writing he hasnt contacted me. not a single text message explaining me why he didnt meet up with me that friday.

Note: the text messages were saved just in case you need some proof. made a screen capture as well of his ad here in tipidcp.

how difficult is it to compose a single text message to inform your customer you can't make it? so instead of saving money in buying a phone it will cost me a little more since i have to pay a friend who lent me money which i didnt even use.

i hope not to encounter this situation again.
