Why no holster:I dropped my Galaxy Note with this case and the holster attached to it from my apartment unit 6 floors from the ground. The holster, made of plastic, shattered. The case and my Galaxy Note were not damaged.

RFS: I bought a new Defender case for my Galaxy Note because TenkieBox, the local Otterbox distributor, does NOT include the holster in the warranty. The Defender case for sale will be old one which survived the 6-story drop to cement floor. It has NO visible scratches or dents in the polycarbonate body, and no rips or tears in the outer silicone sheath.

Unit will come with box as well as original receipt from TenkieBox Makati branch that is valid until May 2013. The receipt is needed for shop warranty that covers any cracks on the polycarbonate body.

Our Engineers took into account every design detail of the Galaxy Note to create a solid and reliable protective solution. The Defender Series Galaxy Note case features two layers of protection so you don�t have to worry about it slipping out of your butterfingers. The first layer of protection is a two-piece polycarbonate shell that snaps together around the Note to form a solid shelter. The inside of the polycarbonate includes an internal foam liner to cushion the Note from oopsies such as drops and jolts. A screen protector is built in to the polycarbonate to shield against scratches and smudges while retaining the sensitivity of the touchscreen.

The second layer of protection on the Galaxy Note case is the outer silicone layer that wraps around the inner layer for a seamless and secure fit. The sides feature a grooved texture for improved grip while the rest of the outer layer is made of a rough texture to prevent the Galaxy Note from sliding off your desk or dash.
