Samsung Galaxy S5 release in April of 2014 across 124 markets across the world has more sales on the first day compared to its predecessor S4 during the same period of launch according to trusted reviews website. Also many network carriers worldwide have open promotions for pre-order releases of the S5 a phone comparable to the Xperia Z2 or the HTC one 8 released during the same periods. The Samsung galaxy S5 comes with the latest and faster quad-core 2.5GHz processor in the market. Alongside the Galaxy S5 Samsung also released the Samsung Galaxy gear fit a wearable smartwatch compatible with most series Samsung smartphones. Samsung claims that S5 will surpass the sales of S4 but will have to see how that eventuates at the end of the year.

Design elements

Many critic reviews say that the S5 is still made of plastic cover material compared to the classic steel material of the Apple 5S or the HTC one 8 which comes in stylish colors, However Samsung engineers have done a fine job with the material they use for the back over. A dimple soft plastic back over gives a comfortable grip even for a big 5 inch display and a thing to note is the improved security on S5 compared to S4 with a fingerprint reader located on the home button.

One of the coolest feature of the touchwiz is the toolbox icon which appears as a floating circular object in the menu. So without having to move down to the menu bar, you can customize the toolbox icon with the most frequently used apps and they will be visible when you click on the floating menu object. The above picture on the right illustrates the drop menu selector of the toolbox icon.
